Ana Jensen (latte beaker)
Ana Jensen is a potter living in the Western District of Victoria, Australia. She produces a range of hand thrown domestic ware for daily use, as well as sculpture. The domestic forms—vases, bowls, milk jugs and platters—have a clean, contemporary style reflective of her Danish background.
Her education in ceramics commenced in Denmark where she undertook a traineeship as a potter. Through the program, Jensen travelled to England and France where she spent time at La Borne pottery village, which exposed her to a wide variety of studio practices and methods of firing.
On her arrival in Australia, she worked for several years at Qdos Arts in Lorne under the guidance of Graeme Wilkie.
