The Blanche Tilden—ripple effect catalogue accompanies an exhibition that surveys twenty-five years of a brilliant and influential career, for which Tilden has been critically acclaimed from its earliest phase. Tilden’s jewellery is extraordinarily idiosyncratic and surveying it across decades reveals an intriguing ripple effect in its technical, conceptual and material development. If a ripple effect describes the spreading results of a certain event or action, for Tilden this is an image of productive continuity.

The Blanche Tilden—ripple effect catalogue includes a foreword by Geelong Gallery Director & CEO Jason Smith, ‘Blanche Tilden in Five Movements’ essay by Julie Ewington and ‘A conversation with Susan Taylor and Peter Jones’ by Merryn Gates.  The catalogue provides a pictorial journey through Tilden’s works from 1991 to 2021 and significant collaborations from 2001 to 2018.
